Win an ESX and support the Pan Mass Challenge!

Last years Parlee give-a-way was a huge success for the PMC and Team Kermit. Once again, Parlee Cycles of Beverly http://www.parleecycles.com/intro/ and Grace Bicycles of Holliston http://gracebicycles.com/articles/about-us-pg55.htm have teamed up to benefit the Pan Mass Challenge.

We are donating a brand new, state of the art ESX with full Ultegra 11s Gruppo to Team Kermit as a PMC fundraiser. And this year we have gone the extra mile by donating an amazing selection of second, third and fourth place prizes. Remember, all proceeds go to the PMC so keep reading!

Elite caliber carbon cockpit:, handlbars, matching stem, and seatpost.

Parlee PF30 Bottom Bracket

Shimano Ultegra Crankset

Shimano Ultegra Direct Mount Brakes

Shimano Ultegra Shifters

For the complete story on the ESX go to: http://www.parleecycles.com/esx-overview/ And if you’re curious about what the pros think about the ESX look here:

http://www.bikeradar.com/us/news/article/parlee-esx-aero-road-bike-unveiled-38987/

And if you’re interested in what is being said about the Ultegra 11s Gruppo, take a look here: http://www.roadbikereview.com/reviews/review-shimano-ultegra-6800-11-speed-mechanical-drivetrain

The ESX frameset alone http://www.parleecycles.com/esx-geometry/ is priced at $5,400 and is designed to accommodate both traditional shifting and electronic components.

Included in the package is the complete build and pro fit by Roy Cervantes of Grace Bicycles. Roy is a man filled with humanity and compassion and is a Master Fitter. The personal, professional Retül http://gracebicycles.com/articles/retul-3d-motion-capture-bicycle-fit-pg100.htm fit by Roy alone (not to mention the cost of the build) is a $275 value. The value of the gruppo and the rest of the components? Well, you can see that this is a very high-end ride! The complete bike retails for over $6,500!

And that’s not all! Parlee is also donating a selection of additional items as incentives to get in on the action.

Second Prize: Elite caliber carbon cockpit: handlebars, matching stem, and seatpost valued at over $1000! Yes, you read that right!

Third Prize: Parlee Assos kit, value $ 410

Fourth, fifth, sixth,,,,,, Parlee grab bag- T shirts, water bottle cages, water bottles, tires.

“So, how do I get in on this incredible opportunity?”

 Here are the details:

-Tickets are $25 ea. Purchase as many tickets as you like! There is a very modest reserve to cover some of the bike costs. Though I fully expect the reserve to be met, if it is not, all funds will be promptly returned to the participants.

-To purchase tickets, the preferred method is to send a check make out to Branfman/Team Kermit to my address; 43 Chinian Path, Newton, MA 02459. Include your full contact information including email, snail mail, and phone. You may also purchase tickets via PayPal using my email Sbranfpots@aol.com. Be sure to select “Sending money to family or friends” to avoid any service fees. In the message field write “PMC” and include your phone, and snail mail address. DO NOT INCLUDE THE WORD RAFFLE in you Paypal notes.

-Ticket purchases will be accepted until August 4, 6PM Eastern time.

-The winner will be chosen that evening at our Team Kermit Post PMC cookout and will be announced to the public via email the next day. The winner will be contacted by email and phone.

-The process of frame size selection, custom fit, bicycle build, and final delivery will then be arranged. There are also options for upgrades in componentry, which would be the responsibility of the winner.

So what are you waiting for? Purchase your tickets early and often. Please share this with your cycling friends and any other cycling lists that you may be a member of.  With the limited community that this is being circulated through, your chances of winning are high! This is an opportunity to be riding a top-of-the-line, semi custom bicycle AND to help support a critical cause that we all have a connection to. Whether you are a PMC’er or not, join in the excitement and think of the possibility of having this bike in your stable.
