Custom Paint Configurator now Live!

We are excited to launch the beta version of our custom paint configuration tool. It can be found by browsing here. Design your paint job exactly how you want it to look! NOTE: Not all models are in the configurator yet, bear with us as we populate this new tool.

I'm using Internet Explorer 6 and the Z5 paint configurator doesn't seem to be working - the colour options can be selected but the box that displays the frame is effectively blanked out (i.e. it's all shaded light blue). Is the configurator not compatible with IE 6? If not, can you let me know which browers/versions this beta version of the paint configurator works with?

Hi Scot,

The configurator is working in IE6/XP on our end. I'm thinking you may have inadvertently dragged the mouse across the photo and selected it. When I perform that action here I get the blue box you describe. You might try refreshing the page. Hopefully that will clear the selection and the photo will show up again.

As an aside, I would upgrade from IE6 as soon as feasible. Major sites have announced that they are dropping support for IE6, or already have (GoogleApps/YouTube for instance). Not to mention the security issues. You're likely to have a much better browsing experience web wide if you go with the latest build of FireFox or IE8. They both do a much better job supporting web standards.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Thanks. Fixed. Would upgrade from IE6 on this machine, but I'd need to convince the IT dept at work to do so...

Configurator works well!

Works great in Firefox, probably best to get people on older versions of Internet Explorer to more recent versions or to another browser all together.
