At Parlee, craftsmanship is the hallmark of our brand. Every bike we build reflects our dedication to performance, precision, and above all, doing things with care.
Given our legacy of attention to every detail, we see it as a responsibility to ensure that we’re personally involved in every step of our bike manufacturing process.

For our production model bikes, the Taos and Ouray, we’ve partnered with a highly skilled team of carbon fiber artisans in Portugal, who do all the carbon work by hand.
We personally chose these craftsmen and engineers for their expertise and their shared values. Their facility operates with modern, high standards for both labor and sustainability, ensuring that every frame is produced responsibly.

Just as importantly, these bikes are still made to order. After a frame is completed in Portugal, it comes to our team in the United States where it undergoes rigorous quality checks, receives its finish, and the rider’s customized fit components are selected for fulfillment to the dealer.

Only then is it shipped to our dealers. This ensures that not only does every rider receive a bike that is meticulously cared for at every stage of its journey, but also that our dealers can count on Parlee to have the bikes they need in stock.
Producing our bikes in Portugal allows us more control over our inventory management, and thus we can better support our dealers.

Our Z-Zero and Z-Zero GT models are still produced entirely in the United States, by hand.
Here, our expert builders continue the work of Parlee’s roots, laying carbon, shaping frames, and finishing every detail under one roof. Several of our fabrication experts have been hand-building bikes for Parlee since the company was founded 25 years ago.
These bikes are the embodiment of our craftsmanship, carrying forward the tradition that began when we first set out to make the world’s best carbon bicycles.
Knowing where your bike comes from, and how it was made, matters.
Consumers are asking if the products they buy are made ethically, if workers are treated fairly, and if the environmental impact of production is being taken seriously. At Parlee, we’re proud to answer “yes” to all of the above.

We intentionally work with partners who meet our own standard of production, which has a higher cost, but it’s the way to do things right. We don't mass produce, we build fewer bikes so that every one is extraordinary.
When you ride a Parlee, you’re not only getting one of the best bicycles in the world, you’re supporting a supply chain that values people and the planet as much as performance.

By keeping our supply chain transparent and aligned with our values, we’re ensuring that every Parlee bike reflects not only innovation and performance, but also integrity.
